Open Lunch Policy

Crescenta Valley High School has an “open lunch policy” which permits students to leave campus during the lunch period.

Parents/Guardians who do not wish students to have this privilege must complete the lunch policy form and either return it in person or mail it to CV’s Assistant Principal. If we do not receive the completed form from you, we assume you are giving your student(s) permission to leave campus at lunch.

A list of students denied permission to leave campus at lunch will be used by administrators and lunch supervisors to check on a daily basis. Students who leave without permission will be subject to disciplinary action.

The off-campus lunch privilege will be revoked for those students who develop poor attendance patterns after lunch or create problems in the community.
